Learn Norsk Lab (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides Norwegian language courses, Norskprøve preparation, health license (Helseautorisasjon) and  integration courses, and related educational services. By enrolling in our courses, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

General Rules

• Students are responsible for keeping track of their class schedule and updating their contact information.
• All communication must be via email; phone or social media requests are not valid.
• Course and payment inquiries should go through the administration, not teachers. Scheduling is agreed on directly with the teacher. 
• Teachers will respond to emails related to bookings, scheduling, and homework feedback but may not answer more demanding curriculum questions outside of lessons due to their own private time.
• Participants are required to keep their camera switched on during lessons and their microphone muted, except when speaking.
• Course teachers may change when necessary.
• Registrations are non-transferable.
• Learn Norsk Lab materials cannot be shared externally.
• Discrimination of any kind is not tolerated and may result in removal.
• Students who attend at least 80% of a course can request a Learn Norsk Lab certificate. This certificate cannot replace the Norskprøve certificate. It is a course level and participation certificate instead.
• Certificates may be withheld if payment is incomplete.
• Individual lessons last 60 minutes, and group lessons (6-10 students) last 90 minutes if not agreed differently by email with the school administration. The duration of the individual and semi-individual lessons (2-5 students) can be agreed on with the school administration. 
• Phones must be on silent during class.
• Learn Norsk Lab reserves the right to choose its students and cancel registrations if necessary.
  
  

Cancellation Policy 

• Individual Private Lessons: Individual lessons must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the lesson time via email sent to the teacher. Late cancellations or no-shows are fully charged with no exceptions. Full refunds for your lesson packages (10-, 20-, 40- or 50-package) are possible only if the package is canceled within 24 hours after the first lesson. Otherwise, the lesson package fee is non-refundable.
• Group Courses: Group courses follow a fixed schedule, and missed lessons cannot be rescheduled or refunded. Full refunds only if cancelled within 24 hours after the first lesson. Later cancellations require full payment and are non-refundable, and installment payments continue as scheduled even if a student takes a break. It is possible to postpone group course participation (check Postponement & Rescheduling).
• In case you cannot attend a lesson which is a part of a group course, and give an obligatory 24 hour notice to the teacher by email, the lesson is recorded and shared with you with a 7 day access to watch. 
• Discounted Courses: Non-refundable. Refunds are calculated based on original prices, not discounted rates.
• All Cancellations for Group Courses: Must be submitted via email to info@learnnorsklab.com. Phone or message cancellations are not accepted.
  
  

Postponement & Rescheduling

• Group courses and individual lesson packages can be postponed for up to 3 months with a €50 fee, subject to approval via email.
• Postponed group course participation continues where you left your first-course curriculum.
• Individual lesson packages have an expiration time. Once purchased, individual lesson packages must be used within the following timeframes:
  
  10-lesson package: valid for 2 months
  20-lesson package: valid for 4 months
  40- and 50-lesson package: valid for 6 months

These time limits ensure regular lessons with the teacher, promoting faster progress, more efficient learning, and better results.

Guarantee Policies

The 100% Norskprøve Pass Guarantee applies exclusively to the Total Beginner to Norskprøve course for Norwegian citizenship, residency, higher education or employment. To be eligible, the participant must attend all scheduled lessons and submit all required homework assignments in full and on time.

If the participant does not pass the Norskprøve exam after meeting all course requirements, they are entitled to repeat the Total Beginner to Norskprøve course once, free of charge. The repeat participation must take place in the next available Total Beginner to Norskprøve. Deferring participation to a later course is not permitted under this guarantee.

The guarantee covers tuition only and does not include exam fees or other external costs. The language school does not guarantee that the same teacher, course schedule, or lesson times will be available during the repeated course.

Payment Policies

• Payments must be received before the course begins until the date stated on the website in the course catalogue.
• Accepted payment methods: bank transfer (invoice) and PayPal.
• Unpaid invoices beyond 14 days may be sent to collections.
• All invoices will be issued by the 15th of the following month at the latest.
• Discounted courses cannot be refunded or transferred.
• Installment payments continue as scheduled even if a student takes a break unless the postponement fee is applied.
